Random Happy Time, 35 O’Clock - Overseas Stuff!

http://www.bandaionline.com/bandai-premium-robot-spirits-fuunsaiki-for-master-god-gundam/
After chatting about importing games, Tiger and Rabbit take time to talk about other items they import. From CDs and movies to Vocaloid memorabilia and figures, Tiger and Rabbit chat about some of their favorite purchases and why they just had to have it.

**^^**

Rabbit: We talked about importing clothes before but what else have we imported?

Tiger: I know I import a ton of Japanese music and some anime as well. ♪ヾ(^Д^*)ノ

Rabbit: You also import a lot of Gundam figures too.

Tiger: I have seven, that’s not a ton. You import a bunch of artbooks and plushies. _〆(。。)

Rabbit: Artbooks are one thing I don’t think the west does well. That’s why I always love getting them from Japan. I have a few from different video games and anime but I need to get more. And yes, Japanese plushies are too cute.

Tiger: I really love the Okami artbook we have. I also have Kawamoto Toshihiro’s collection too. Do you have a favorite imported item?

Rabbit: ٩(^ᴗ^)۶ My plushie Charmander, the ICO artbook, and the Lucky Star OVA collection. You?

Tiger: I love the Đặng Thái Sơn CD I imported from Poland and the MS-07B-3 figure I got from Japan. The Destiny hoodie I picked up from a retailer in the UK is also really cool looking.

Rabbit: Oh, that one is nice but I like the Assassin’s Creed III jacket I got better. I still need to get the inFAMOUS vest.

Tiger: I want to import the Fuunsaiki Robot Spirits that was shown off this year.

Rabbit: \(^0^)/ Ooh, I also need to get a Free! artbook.

Tiger: You know, I’m surprised you don’t have a Hakuoki artbook since you love Saitō so much.

Rabbit: The books don’t do him justice. Plus, most that I’ve found are from the anime series and not the game but I think I’ll have to remedy the lack of Hakuoki books in my collection soon. You know what else I like to import?

Tiger: What?

Rabbit: (*´ڡ`●) Food.

Tiger: No.

Rabbit: Yes, I haven’t talked about food in a long time. Japanese treats are the best. I’m a big fan of their drinks as well. While I don’t technically import them directly from Japan, I do shop at an import grocery store that carries all kinds of crazy things.

Tiger: We all know that you love to talk about food; you don’t need to keep doing it.

Rabbit: I’ll stop if you buy me that vest.

Tiger: No.

Rabbit: How about a Tachibana Makoto figure?

Tiger: Not happening. o(-`д´- 。)

Rabbit: Import the Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei second season.

Tiger: (⋋▂⋌) Never.

Rabbit: Oh, see’mon!

Random Happy Time, 27 O'Clock - Favorite Movie Food!

https://www.amctheatres.com/food-and-drink/showtime-snacks
Even though they don’t go to the theater, that doesn’t mean Tiger and Rabbit don’t know their snack foods. The pair of fuzzy animals discuss their favorite movie foods, from the classic popcorn to the trendy sour Brite Crawlers.

**^^**

Rabbit: So I know it’s been a long time since we went to the theater but I wanted to talk about some of our favorite movie food.

Tiger: Food again? ┗(•̀へ •́ ╮ )

Rabbit: What? I like talking about food. It’s fun. ヾ(。・ω・)シ I love visualizing it and trying to remember what it smells like. It’s good practice at how well you can creatively construct images in your mind.

Tiger: You see this only works because you talk about the food so much; I end up going out and buying it for you so you’ll shut up.

Rabbit: It’s a great exercise in mind control. ^wiggles fingers at Tiger^

Tiger: *shakes head* I only have two staples of snack food when it comes to movies, popcorn and gummy bears. But not just any gummy bears, it has to be Haribo bears.

Rabbit: They used to have Care Bear branded gummy bears at our old theater back home. I remember that the box looked super big but when you opened it, the plastic bag full of bears only filled half of the box. Such a rip off.

Tiger: That’s why I liked bringing in my own candy.

Rabbit: That’s against the rules though!

Tiger: It saves my wallet some hurting though.

Rabbit: Well I always enjoyed getting sour gummy worms and soft pretzels. Ooh, and a hot dog with nachos. ╰(✧∇✧╰)

Tiger: For you, it was more like going to dinner and getting a movie as a bonus.

Rabbit: Now, we just crash on the floor and watch a movie at home.

Tiger: It’s a lot cheaper, that’s for sure.

Rabbit: It is, but alas, I don’t get those awesome nachos anymore.

Tiger: Your heart thanks you for it too.

Rabbit: (★^O^★) Well, that’s all the time we have folks. I think I’m gonna make me another bag of popcorn!

Random Happy Time, 17 O'Clock - Asian Delights!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_pot
Rabbit finally gets her chance to talk about all the delightful meals she and Tiger ate while at Sakura-Con 2015. Though they stuck with their favorite Seattle restaurants, the pair were able to be adventurous and tried some new eating experiences.

**^^**

Rabbit: I know you Qgers and Qbbits want to know all about the most important events of Sakura-Con 2015.

Tiger: What events are those?

Rabbit: Where we ate!

Tiger: ( ̄ェ ̄;) I can’t stop you, can I?

Rabbit: Of course not, this is my segment; anything goes in Random Happy Time! So when we got into town on Thursday, we ate at Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot! Umai! ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

Tiger: Admittedly, it was really good. (*´∀`*人*´∀`*) With hot pots, they bring out a large bowl of broth and then your meats and veggies are brought out raw. There’s a burner in the table and you cook everything yourself.

Rabbit: It was amazing, I was in heaven. There were some things that I didn’t know what they were though. 【・_・?】 Like the pink balls and the strange alien flesh.

Tiger: ー( ̄~ ̄)ξ Those were beef kidney meatballs and beef tripe.

Rabbit: Σ(゚д゚lll)

Tiger: After that it was MOD Pizza for dinner. I got the Mad Dog and you got two pizzas.

Rabbit: The first one, they put the wrong toppings on and burnt it, so they made me a second one on the house. They were having personnel issues when we went which probably explains the mistakes, it was still yummy.

Tiger: They have really good marionberry lemonade there.

Rabbit: On Friday we ate lunch at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. They have the best burgers ever and a really weird name! ꒰˘̩̩̩⌣˘̩̩̩๑꒱♡ We always eat lunch there every time we’re in Seattle.

Tiger: Next was dinner at Blue Water Taco Grill. They are a great inexpensive and fast meal that’s close to the convention center.

Rabbit: On Saturday we ate a huge lunch at P.F. Chang’s since we knew we weren’t going to get dinner because of all the events that night.

Tiger: We did pack apple fritters from In Short Order and ate those that night. They were good even if they got smooshed in my bag.

Rabbit: For Sunday’s lunch we ate Phở at New Saigon. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Nice to be so close to WSCC so we could save our tired feet the hassle of walking for a long time. We wrapped up dinner that night at our hotel’s restaurant, the Daily Grill. We both got tilapia in a lemon pepper caper sauce. Very good, very expensive.

Tiger: They are always pricey there, a little too high for my tastes but it was convenient.

Rabbit: As for our last day, we ate at Kau Kau BBQ which I’ve heard was really good but I wasn’t impressed with the pork I ordered.

Tiger: My chow mein was kind of greasy too. Isn’t Kau Kau a Dynasty Warriors character?

Rabbit: I think the spelling’s different.

Tiger: Well, at least we got to experience a lot of delectable entrées that we hadn’t had before or had in a long time.

Rabbit: I’m still dreaming of that hot pot. (´ ▽`).。o♡

Random Happy Time, 15 O’Clock - Man, You Are Ugly!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vole
After chatting about beautiful games, Tiger and Rabbit decide to flip the coin and discuss ugly things. From the monstrous to the grotesque, Tiger and Rabbit share the ugly things that they love.

**^^**

Rabbit: I feel bad that we talked about pretty things before and left out all the ugly things. I don’t want to get their feelings hurt so I thought we could do that here.

Tiger: Do what?

Rabbit: Talk about ugly things we like.

Tiger: You don’t like ugly things.

Rabbit: There are some ugly things I like.

Tiger: Okay, how about worms?

Rabbit: ヽ(。_°)ノ Eww.

Tiger: One-eyed dogs?

Rabbit: That’s so sad.

Tiger: Dirt?

Rabbit: You think dirt is ugly?

Tiger: Salamanders?

Rabbit: They’re just cute little lizards.

Tiger: Rocks?

Rabbit: They’re neat.

Tiger: Rocks covered in bird poop?

Rabbit: ¯\(°_o)/¯ Gross.

Tiger: All-you-can-eat buffets?

Rabbit: So hungry.

Tiger: All-you-can-eat buffets with sick people?

Rabbit: I don’t wanna eat sick people. ヽ(゚Д゚)ノ

Tiger: ヽ( ̄д ̄;)ノ No, I meant with sick people in line. Never mind, how about moldy cheese?

Rabbit: I thought cheese was already a mold.

Tiger: Spaghetti noodles.

Rabbit: Huh?

Tiger: They’re ugly and creepy looking.

Rabbit: I guess we really don’t like ugly things. We are terrible people.

Tiger: You just realized that?

Rabbit: (⌒_⌒;) I think voles are ugly and cute at the same time.

Tiger: How so?

Rabbit: Well, voles are often used in experiments so they cut open their skull and place a cap on it.

Tiger: *raises eyebrows*

Rabbit: So they are ugly because they have had their heads cut open but their cute too because they’re idle bitty mice looking things.

Tiger: Ooookay. We’re done now.

Random Happy Time, 10 O’Clock - Jiggly Jello!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tomorrow_Children
Rabbit and Tiger discuss more of their impressions from The Tomorrow Children alpha in this issue of Random Happy Time! What were Tiger’s and Rabbit’s favorite parts? Read on, my friend, read on.

**^^**

Tiger: So thoughts on The Tomorrow Children Alpha?

Rabbit: ー( ´ ▽ ` )ノ The islands looked like Jello!

Tiger: Okay, other than that?

Rabbit: ( ゚▽゚)/ I want a jetpack!

Tiger: *rubs forehead* What about the gameplay?

Rabbit: /(=∵=)\ I loved the night vision goggles, they looked fantastic. I like the idea of having to always be in light as a puzzle element. If it’s dark out, you can shine your flashlight so others can still continue working. What about you?

Tiger: I like the train depot, that was a nice touch. You can use it to transport your resources to your town, all without having to carry each piece and place it on the train manually. I can already see some issues with it though.

Rabbit: Like how you won’t be able to make perfect lines or squares. Or your obsession with even numbers.

Tiger: ( ̄ェ ̄;) *silence*

Rabbit: ^giggles^ (。・`ω´・。) I really do think the game looks like it is partially made out of candy, cake, and Jello though. Makes me hungry just watching it.

Tiger: Why do you talk so much about food in these segments?

Rabbit: ^offended face^ What? What are you saying? I love food and it’s a good topic.

Tiger: I’m warning you now, if you keep going on about food when we play the game, I’m going to report you and have you arrested. o(-`д´- 。)

Rabbit: Hidoi yo! ヽ(●゚´Д`゚●)ノ゚

Q Attack, Round 5 - Should There be More Holiday Themed Video Games?

http://www.doublefine.com/
The holidays are upon us and TvR is joining in the festivities with this holiday themed Q Attack. Tiger and Rabbit talk holiday themed video games and recall their fond holiday gaming moments.

^^**^^

Rabbit: I love the holidays, don’t you?

Tiger: No, because they’re just marketing ploys to get you to spend money on garbage you don’t need.

Rabbit: But they’re fun and festive. Gift giving is great too! I always try to get zany gifts so people know right away it’s from me.

Tiger: Like that one year you gave someone ten boxes of paperclips.

Rabbit: You’re one to talk. You gave a friend a gasmask and a stuffed horse that had a noose around its neck.

Tiger: Don’t forget I cut off one leg and removed an eye too.

Rabbit: ^shocked face^ Moving on. We celebrated Thanksgiving with turkey and Godzilla. Then after Thanksgiving starts the marathon of Christmas movies!

Tiger: You watch those things, I don’t.

Rabbit: On Christmas Eve we make sugar cookies with lots of sprinkles.

Tiger: I always put a ton of those cinnamon dot thingies on the cookies to make it hard for Santa to eat them.

Rabbit: That’s why you’re on the naughty list. ^shakes head^ I’m always so excited when we wake up on Christmas afternoon to open presents! We get to eat turkey again too.

Tiger: That’s not a typo people. She really does sleep in on Christmas, even when she was little.

Rabbit: It’s too cold to get up early. Anyway, we celebrate New Year’s with a Japanese meal. Yakitori! Yakisoba! Miso soup!

Tiger: Our readers are going to think we only celebrate holidays with food.

Rabbit: We play a lot of games too. I still remember getting Spyro the Dragon for Christmas and playing that non-stop during the holiday break.

Tiger: Ridge Racer and Tekken games have become a holiday tradition too, when we have family visiting.

Rabbit: Remember that one Thanksgiving we put the PS3 camera up and had that weird tech demo-ish non-game game playing.

Tiger: Oh, the one where you could kind of paint different things and make strange designs. What was that called... *thinks to self* Oh! Mesmerize.

Rabbit: That’s it! It wasn’t really a game but it was a fun little interactive piece that used the Eye. We always turned that on in the living room for family to mess with during the holidays. I think of Ratchet & Clank as a holiday series even though there’s not a single holiday mentioned in that game. I used to try and beat every game in the series during Christmas break; it was like my very own Lombax speed run.

Tiger: Assassin’s Creed has the habit of feeling like a holiday game just because it always gets released in November. Is it strange that I get a “Christmas Eve” vibe from Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward?

Rabbit: Yes, that game has nothing to do with Christmas.

Tiger: I know, I just can’t help feeling like that could happen on Christmas Eve.

Rabbit: ^raises eyebrow^

Tiger: There are actually a few holiday themed games we play too. Or at least games that are set around the holidays. A big tradition is playing Costume Quest during October.

Rabbit: I love Costume Quest! It’s such an awesome game and the Halloween theme is so fun. I’m glad they made a sequel.

Tiger: I think that is Double Fine’s first sequel too. Their games are always catchy but I have to admit, Costume Quest is my favorite out of all of them.

Rabbit: I love the unicorn costume.

Tiger: Of course you do. They even had that Christmasy DLC as well, Grubbins on Ice. I know Saint’s Row IV and Borderlands 2 also had some Christmas themed DLC.

Rabbit: I remember in Bully, part of the game was set during the holidays.

Tiger: Yakuza.

Rabbit: What?

Tiger: The Yakuza series is always set around Christmas time. That to me is the most holiday-centric game I have ever played. I usually try to play those near Christmas. The lights from the Red Light District are so festive.

Rabbit: Saint’s Row? Borderlands? Yakuza? I don’t think those are what I would consider “festive” games. Santa needs to permanently ban you from the Nice List.

Tiger: Do you remember all the time we spent in PlayStation Home over the holidays to get the various holiday themed pets and what not?

Rabbit: ^eyes go wide^ OMG! I totally forgot about that. We used to do that every year. That and go for the E3 festivities. Home was pretty fun, especially when you played with friends. I bought so many apartments and furniture sets in there. I think that was my favorite thing to do. I like having those opportunities. So many of our friends we only know online so we can’t celebrate holidays together.

Tiger: You just want one of those Christmas parties ala Lucky Star or Persona 4: The Animation.

Rabbit: Or go to a theme park for Christmas like on Cardcaptor Sakura. Ah, Yukito. I just think the holidays are a time to spend with friends and family so it’d be neat to have a multiplayer game we could do that with. Maybe Destiny will have Christmas themed aliens we can kill.

http://yakuza.wikia.com/wiki/Yakuza_Wiki
Tiger: So I take it you want more holiday themed games?

Rabbit: Yes, I do enjoy them! I wish we had more of them! I love having a game like Costume Quest that I can play every year to help me celebrate Halloween. There’s nothing like eating turkey and then playing a video game to help you celebrate! I’d love for there to be more holiday themed games out there. It’d be fun to get everyone online and celebrate virtually together. What about you?

Tiger: I’ll pass. As much as I love Costume Quest, it’s bad enough that the holidays invade every other part of our lives; I don’t want to see video games do the same thing. There’s holiday junk in all the stores, you hear the Christmas music from dawn until dusk in December, and even TV shows get into the festivities. No, thank you. Costume Quest was an anomaly for me. It’s a solid game that just happens to have a holiday theme, that’s how I see it. Nope, you can keep all the jolly holiday spirit to yourself. I’m going to stick to my humbug ways.

Rabbit: I hope Santa gives you coal for Christmas. Anyway, that’s it from us! I hope all you Qgers and Qbbits have a great holiday season! Even if you’re a bah-humbug like Tiger, I hope you get to play a ton of games!

Should There be More Holiday Themed Video Games?

Random Happy Time, 3 O'Clock! - Twitter and Toast!

http://kekkaishi.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
Rabbit is back in control with this edition of Random Happy Time! She takes this opportunity to shamelessly plug TvR’s social media accounts and to discuss a very important topic with Tiger.

**^^**

Rabbit: /(=⌒x⌒=)\ Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening Qgers and Qbbits! Welcome to another edition of-

Tiger: Wait. Just stop. Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑) I've been meaning to ask, what is with the Qgers and Qbbits?

Rabbit: I thought we needed to come up with a catchy name for our fans. Since our main theme here is answering questions, ala Q Attack, I came up with those two names. Tiger’s fans are Qgers and my fans are Qbbits. Clever, right? It’s like they’re our own version of the QForce!

Tiger: Not really and you’re assuming they want these cutesy names.

Rabbit: They are awesome names, I’m sticking with them. (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧

Tiger: I thought you were going to quit using the emoticons too.

Rabbit: ^pauses^ ☆*・゜゚・*\(^O^)/*・゜゚・*☆

Tiger: (ノ`Д)ノ:・’∵:.┻┻

Rabbit: |ω・)و ̑̑༉ You missed me! So as I was saying Qgers and Qbbits! TvR is now on Twitter! We’ll be posting updates on our account but the main reason why we created one is so that we can have a new segment called Quick Q Attack! You can ask us a yes/no or either/or question via Twitter and we’ll give you an answer in 140 characters or less! Amazing, right?

Tiger: When did we decide to do this?! *shakes fist at Rabbit* You can’t just come up with these things without telling me first!

Rabbit: ^whimpers^ You told me I could run the Twitter account. I thought it’d be fun to do.

Tiger: *sighs* Fine, you can do your little segment. Just don’t go all emoticon crazy again, okay?

Rabbit: Yahoo! Thank you! 〜(^∇^〜) 〜(^∇^)〜 (〜^∇^)〜

Tiger: (-‸ლ) You’re welcome, honey.

Rabbit: We also have a an email address now where you can send us your own Q Attack questions or Versus Mode scenarios and we’ll answer them in future blog posts. You can find us on Twitter @TigervsRabbit and email us at TigervsRabbit@outlook.com!

Tiger: Seriously? You used a Microsoft email address for our almost entirely PlayStation focused blog?

Rabbit: ^pouts^ It was already taken on Gmail. Anyway, I’ve got an important topic to discuss in this Random Happy Time!

Tiger: Okay, shoot me with it.

Rabbit: ~(^◇^)/ Toast.

Tiger: Oh no, not this.

Rabbit: Yes, this. I want to talk about our love for toast. I love toast so much that I use a ton of blankets on my bed.

Tiger: What does that have to do with toast?

Rabbit: Because I want to be toasty all the time. I want to be one with the toast.

Tiger: *hangs head* I shouldn’t have asked.

Rabbit: I love toast so much that if he asked me to marry him today, I would do it in a flash.

Tiger: Oh my. *shakes head* It is true that toast is pretty awesome. It’s easy to make, you can put almost anything on it, and it goes with everything.

Rabbit: I’m in love with Mr. White Bread who likes to wear Nutella and strawberries.

Tiger: Wow, that sounds super sweet. I’m on a plain old sourdough toast with a little butter kick right now.

Rabbit: Such a simple choice. You just don’t have the refined palette like I have.

Tiger: You better wrap this entry up before I bop you on the head.

Rabbit: 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。 Wai! You’re so violent!

Tiger: *shakes fist*

Rabbit: Thanks Qgers and Qbbits! Make sure to send us your questions via @TigervsRabbit on Twitter or email us at TigervsRabbit@outlook.com! I hope to see you again soon! That is, if I survive Tiger's fury! /(=xェx=)\

Random Happy Time, 1 O'Clock! - Thanks a Bunch, Dan!

http://nativelyawkwardcomic.com/comic/9/
In this first entry of Random Happy Time!, Rabbit takes a little time to thank the TvR artist and discuss cornbread with Tiger.

**^^**

Rabbit: Hello everybunny! Welcome to Random Happy Time! My chance to hijack TvR away from Tiger and do whatever I want! ૮⍝◜•˕̮•◝⍝ა

Tiger: (,,◕ ⋏ ◕,,) What are you doing to TvR, Rabbit?! *pauses* I don't look like that! Stop doing those! Emoticons are not allowed here!

Rabbit: ^sings^ La-la-la-la-loooooo-la! I can do whatever I want! Random Happy Time! is my time! (*´∀`)ノ☊ฺ ▂ฺ ▃ฺ ▄ฺ ▅ฺ ▆ฺ ▇ฺ █

Tiger: Wait, that's what you're calling this segment? (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)☄

Rabbit: (•ㅅ•) It's awesome! /(=⌒x⌒=)\

Tiger: Just get on with it and cut out the emoticons, you're going to give our readers an embolism. And I don't look like that at all!

Rabbit: Fine, sourpuss. In our first Random Happy Time!, we want to take this opportunity to thank a very special member of the TvR team - Dan! He's the artist behind me and Tiger, and I have to say I love what he's done with the art. The banner designs look awesome, I love our avatars, and he's doing a lot of extra work coming up with different assets for us to use on the site! We don't have everything up yet but you'll be amazed by his work when it's all finished!

Tiger: Yes, thank you Dan. Make sure to follow him on Twitter at @JiibayDan and visit That Dan Stinehart Blog.

Rabbit: Dan also has a comic series called ~Natively Awkward, which you can find by clicking that link or following @NatAwkComic on Twitter. Speaking of ~Natively Awkward, there's this cute little character in the comic that's always cooking cornbread. When I read it, he makes me want to bake my own cornbread! ( ´・ω・`)_且

Tiger: That looks like tea to me.

Rabbit: But you know what I don't like about cornbread? It's so crumby! ^giggles^ Get it?

Tiger: (━┳━ _ ━┳━)

Rabbit: It's true. Cornbread has to be one of the five hardest things to bake, right behind snicker-doodle cookies and-

Tiger: (ノ`Д´)ノ-----┻┻ -3-3

Rabbit: ^runs away^ Thanks for reading Qgers and Qbbits! Until next time!

Tiger: I promise, I won't let these get any crazier.
